Hi,

I read that
I found a $55 'value pack' -a SSD and a USB3 enclosure including cable. The 30GB SSD is large enough to accommodate Windows 8 or any Linux distro with room to spare.

I don't know which USB 3.0 SATA HDD 2.5-inch Enclosure is. When reading in the newegg.com, I found this USB 3.0 SATA HDD 2.5-inch Enclosure,
However, I am expecting that this link above contains a HDD and a USB3 caddy both together(as shown in the picture in newegg.com, which is called is the USB 3.0 SATA HDD 2.5-inch Enclosure. However, the What is the USB 3.0 SATA SSD 2.5-inch Enclosure?

Any comments would be highly appreciated.

It's an enclosure that's designed to be portable (sit outside your computer) and connect a 2.5" (laptop sized) HDD or SSD to a computer via a USB3 connection.

"SATA" is the interface that connects (most) internal HDDs and SSDs to your computer. So the enclosure converts the SATA HDD/SSD to a USB connection which is available externally on every computer.

Think of it like turning a HDD or SSD into a higher capacity (and potentially faster) USB flash drive.

Thank you both of you very much indeed,
When opening that link I posted before, I think of that that picture below as HDD and USB caddy.

I am right or not?
If you kindly open the link I have posted in my first post, you'll see that link above contains a HDD and a USB3 caddy both together(as shown in the picture in newegg.com, which is called the USB 3.0 SATA HDD 2.5-inch Enclosure.

I don't think the price of a HDD and a USB3 caddy/enclosure will be $11 as shown in the newegg.com.
The picture is not true, I think it is only the cable which is USB3 enclosure/ caddy, and with the price $ 11?

Yes in that link and in your drawing above, that is the USB wire, and the enclosure. It doesn't include the HDD. That is what you would slip a 2.5 HDD into to protect it and use it in a portable way.

There is no HDD/SSD in that picture.
I think you mistakenly confuse the SATA III connecter that is shown in the 3`rd picture with HDD/SSD.

That thing is the connecter of the enclosure that connects TO the HDD/SSD that will go inside it.

Yes, it is really good explanation now.
You think that that enclosure which looks like a HDD can be used to slip, insert a HDD/SSD inside it. But, do you think ALL HDDs, and SSDs can be fitted to be inserted inside that enclosure .

Moreover, I really intent to purchase a new SSD, however, I only found in my country 'Yemen', this kind of SSD
Kingston Digital 480GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive with Adapter (SV300S3N7A/480G)
So, I was wondering if that package of SSD above contained the USB wire, the enclosure, and the SSD

The enclosure is designed for 2.5" drives as mentioned in the title.
If you want specifics, this is from the description of the product:
NOTE: Interior Dimension 101 x 70 x 10 mm (Thicker Older models might not fit)

When opening that link above, I only found the image of SSD, but there is no USB wire, nor enclosure???

Do you think this kind of Kingston Digital 480GB SSDNow V300 SATA 3 2.5-Inch SSD is better than Samsung 850 Pro 512GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-7KE512BW)?

When buying the SSD, usually it comes by itself, and you have to buy the enclosure saparately.
Regarding the Kingston V300 and the 850 EVO, the Samsung is the winner by quite a margin.

Even if I have a V300 myself, the recent models have bad reviews.
