I have revised my selection of parts for my PC, please check if they are complementary to each other and if I need to revise any other part...I want to use it for gaming, photo, video editing and rendering... I also want to connect a Bluetooth controller too...(dual shock 4 maybe?) I want to to be future proof...can I do editing work on this PC? OR should I change my mother board?

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
Motherboard: MSI Z97 GAMING 9 ACK
GPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 980 4GB or
2 x NVIDIA GEFORE GTX 970
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2 x 8GB @ 2400 MHz
HDD: Western Digital Black 1TB
SSD: Samsung Evo 850(pro) 256GB/500GB (What capacity should I use?)
Case: NZXT Phantom 410
Power brick: 850V gold
CPU Cooler: H100i or H110 (which to buy? Or any other options?)
I have read that in GTX 970 out of 4GB only 3.5GB runs at full speed...so should I buy them?

Solution
The answer is yes. However, I believe your build can be improved upon.

I would do the following:

I would personally buy 2x970 over a single 980. SLI will only improve in the future and the Nvidia hardware will be fully DX12 compatible, giving you a glorious 8GB of VRAM.

I would get two SSD's, both at either 256GB or 500GB, where 500GB is preferable. Use one SSD as temporary file storage, say if you are using Premier, and use the other SSD for handling the file your are working with, use the big HHD for storage of completed files.

Get either: EVGA G2 750W or XFX XTR 750W as your PSU and there you go.

As for the cooler, get a NH-D15. It's cheaper, more silent, performs better and looks amazing.

It's true with the 970 VRAM...

It's true with the 970 VRAM controversy, however making a very, very long story short: The controversy ought not to influence your choice of GPU. The controversy is bad, yes, the card is still absolutely amazing, and will only improve in the future, regarding SLI and DX12.

Really nice build you have there!

On the GPU part, the SLI 970`s give much better performance than the 980. However, if you plan to add another GTX 980 later on, then that`s the way to go.

Regarding the PSU "brick", make sure you use this for a good choice. Anything in Tier 1 and 2 are a safe bet: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1756009/h100i-h110.html

Regarding the SSD, 500 GB is about the sweet spot right now, and as already recomended, two of them would be even better. I think you should go for the EVO, as the price premium for the PRO is not noticeable.

Also, I love the case! I`m thinking to move my build into one of them, just not sure about the colour.

Here`s some reading for you on the CPU Cooler choice: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1756009/h100i-h110.html
If you`re also interested into air cooling, the Noctua NH-D14 or D15 are great choices.

Whatever your choices will be, you have a beast of a build. Enjoy it!
