Hi Lads,

I have decided to resurrect my old pc while I get the new one up and running, as such I will be looking to buy a good durable, modular, PSU replacement. My current one- provided around 950W (the unit is 5 years old), but has had the power button break- in such a manner that makes it a pain to operate. Originally this PSU fuelled:

AMDphenom ii x6 1090t (Am3)
2x Radeon 5870 in crossfire (oced)
3 Hard drives and the usual stuff

Now the rig has long lost the Radeons and is running with a single MSI 970. The specific PC, will not be used for over-clocking in the future.

As such, I wanted to enquire what PSU would the experts here recommend? I am based in UK, and would ideally be looking for something on a moderate budget + stocked by Overclockers (as I want to buy a Dxracer M series chair their a the same time) or Amazon.co.uk.

Kind regards,
Dmitry
