Firstly whats wrong with the normal ps3 case 0_0
Secondly the ps3`s main board isnt a standard format so you wont fit it in any normal case. You could use acrylic and try to match the dimensions but it would be quite hard.

Save yourself the headache and build a proper media center PC.

First, the PS3 uses the Cell processor, which is a variant of IBM's PowerPC, and isn't 100% compatible with OS written for the PowerPC, which is sort of moot because...

Second, Sony butchered the ability to use Other OS long ago, much to the outrage of a good sized segment of the users of PS3 (Sony claims they aren't console owners, only leasing the console for life), and only the US Air Force has the firmware currently to still use Other OS. This move and stance from Sony caused a really bad dust-up that resulted in lawsuits and DDoS attacks a few years ago.

Third, the PS3 only has 256MB of RAM, which is really anemic for a modern machine, as are much of the other specs for the hardware. Time is a very cruel mistress to computing equipment.

Fourth, it's nowhere near a physical standard for PC motherboards, so stand-offs can't match up to mounting holes, which is just asking for trouble with grounding issues that could fry the PS3 guts.

This will do the job if you just want a media centre (no games)
https://www.raspberrypi.org/raspberry-pi-2-on-sale/

It has the equivalent power of a smartphone

Theres a big community that will help you with your problems and there accessories like cases, cameras ect... for it :)

Keep in mind that even though the raspberry pi 2 is set to receive windows 10 for free, it might not be the full version of it and it might be a bit choppy.
If you just want it for a media centre just use OSMC ( open source media centre ) Its quite good and runs very well on the raspberry pi 2 and is easy to use and looks quite nice :)
