I have a rather unusual issue with GTA V on PC. It runs smoothly at 60+ FPS during regular gameplay on very high settings. After a couple of hours playing the story mode the framerate suffers massive dips going down to 0-1 FPS regardless of where I am, the environmental conditions, time of day ect.
The drops chop and change from just below 60 FPS down to 1, changing every second according to fraps.
