Hi,
Recently, i bought Grand Theft Auto V for PC. I immediately knew once i had come to my senses after buying the game that i had made a mistake, and that my laptop would either not be able to run the game at more than 20 FPS or explode. After numerous attempts and an unreasonable amount of frustration, i couldn't find a way to run the game. So i was wondering if i could somehow upgrade my graphics card to something better? I've seen things like external graphics cards and i know you can change the graphics card on desktops.

Here are my specs (please try not to laugh too hard):
Dell Inspiron 15R SE 7520
Intel core i7-3612QM 2.4Ghz (overclock at around 3.2Ghz)
AMD Radeon HD7730m (i know, i know...)
8Gb RAM

Thanks

Most laptops are not able to have the video card changed. I am not saying 100% most probably 99.9%

My gut says that being an Inspiron it can't be changed, then again my gut has suggested eating oooooold pizza before so...

From experience it is not worth the hassle to upgrade the laptop gpu and is better in the long run to build a gaming PC for the same price. Desktop GPU worth $400 could have a $600-$700 mobile equivalent. Also, many many laptops have their GPUs soldered to the motherboard so they are impossible to replace.
