Hey so I recently built a new computer, was really excited about it as it was my first build but had help from a mate who built one before. However now there's a major issue with it in that it freezes randomly. The screen will still be on with a crisp display ... but the mouse and keyboard and ctrl alt and delete wont work. The sound that come from my earphones is a static sound that increases in volume and then cuts out. Its been freezing like this around every 15 minutes of gaming, or by opening a program like MSi afterburner. I'm not overclocking as the ambient temperature for the CPU is quite high at 40 and was at 60 one time without any gaming so I had to increase fan speed but the computer still crashes. I don't know if its a problem with the temperature or the CPU because I'm not that experienced with stuff like this.

Here's my build :

Motherboard - MSI 970 Gaming AMD AM3 GBE LAN ATX Motherboard
GPU - MSI AMD Radeon R9 290X 8 GB Gaming Graphics Card
CPU - AMD FX-9590 Black Edition Octa Core CPU Socket (AM3+, 4.7GHz, 16MB, 220W, FD9590FHHKWOF, Turbo Core 3.0 Technology)
HDD - WD 3 TB SATA lll Caviar Hard Drive - Green (x2)
SSD - Samsung 2.5-Inch 250 GB 850 EVO Solid State Drive (With Windows 8.1 installed)
Optical Drive - LG BH16NS40.AUAR10B 16x SATA Internal BD-RW Retail Kit
Wireless Card - TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 N900 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter
RAM - Corsair CMY16GX3M2A1866C9 Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1866Mhz CL9 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit Black
PSU - Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (120mm)
Tower Case - Zalman Z11 Plus Midi Tower Case (ATX, M-ATX, Supports Bottom PSU Installation and Aperture for Cable Management, Anti-Vibration Rubber Stand)

Any help would be really appreciated because I was really excited about this computer but tbh it seems more trouble than its worth now. Thanks in advance.

Solution
Did you install a new windows with the build or just moved the SSD to the new build if so you should re install the windows since that normally cause a lot of problems
Check that all your fans are working correctly
Remove your ram sticks and re insert them
Try them for a start and let us know how it goes
