I jusr bought the samsung uh46eh5300 I can connect using the cat5 connection that is another story. anyway after spending my entire afternoon getting the Internet working with a samsung tech. I couldn't connect wireless. I would go through the network settings and start connection wireless and the screen goes back to the tv screen. I then complete a factory reset and it finds my network name I entered the code and it tries to connect with a wired connection instead of wireless connection and I don't have a wire connection to the tv it is unplugged. Samsung rep says I needed a wireless lan adapter wis12abgnx. I didn't understand why I needed this I thought the tv had a built in wifi. I think maybe the wifi module is bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated thx.

First be sure that you have a good wireless signal in that location with a laptop. Then get out your manual for the TV and read it carefully. I have no idea why, but it often takes two or three attempts to get Samsung smart TVs to use the address that you input.

Insure that it is seen on your wireless router and that you have the correct subnet/and mask, I would use a static address rather than obtaining one automatically as it seems to work better in this situation. I doubt that it is a hardware problem though.
