I am now in China ,price:1999 asus mars 760 and 2300 gtx970, which one do i buy?

Hi guys, i am now in china, which one is better? asus mars the dual chip 760 and msi 970, msi is 300yuan more expensive, i play rome2 and assasins creed.

The mars in that link is for the 285 mars. The mars is 2 760s in sli. They would net you slightly higher fps but will cause more issues with new games. I recommend getting the 970 to avoid sli issues and also it is a stronger card and later on you could add another

So what card would you recommend and do you actually know anyone with the card because the card is an amazing card and people just blow the memory thing way out of proportion. The 970 is an amazing card and will suit original poster's needs.

A 970 has 3.5Gb of normal VRAM, and .5Gb of slow VRAM. That Mars card of 260's has 2Gb of VRAM. There is nothing wrong with the 970, other than they may have been best off advertising it as a 3.5Gb card instead of 4Gb. Not that there is anything wrong with a 290/290x either.

The card technically has 4Gb, just like all those dual-GPU cards technically has 4/6/8gb as listed, yet only function as if having half. It was a poor choice, but not exactly the big deal you are making it out to be. Everyone knows the performance, and every knows the memory issue. At this point, everyone is getting what they expect, so woop dee doo.
