My case speaker does not work. Can someone please help me?

I just bought a new Cse speaker thinking the other one was broken.
It came in today and I plugged it in and it doesn't make any noises at all.

The case speaker I bought is: Apevia CVTCSPK Black Case Speaker
and the mother board I have is the Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

If I were you, I'd look up the Mobo's manual. I've seen more than one kind of speaker's header so I'd say it may not be standard and plug&play as you expect it. But it's simple enough, the speaker has a red wire, it should go into Speaker+, and the black wire should go into Speaker-, simple. Some Mobo will have Speaker Left +- and Speaker Right +-, just use the Left or the Right doesn't matter and follow through Red +, Black -.

If the plug is not of the same type you may have to purchase the right type, or some of us just make our own cable.
