please help remember name of game

I'm not sure if this is thie right place to ask, but I need help remembering the name of an old PC game I played as a child. It was made early 90s to early 2000s, and was a point and click rpg style game. I remember specifically my character waking up, on an island i think, and not knowing where he was and being talked to by some prophet being. He literally has nothing when you start off. You make your way to this village thats surrounded by a wooden log wall and the villagers seem to barbaric style almost. You can craft in this game, wield spells, and spend attribute points where you see fit. sneaking was a must in this game if you wanted to steal items from enemy npcs like wolf pelts that were laying around. You could also pick pocket npc monsters and friendly npcs.

Definitely not monkey island haha. you're right though as I've been shearching the Internet to no avail.:/ maybe I just think it has island in the name. Meh.

The name of the game is evil islands: curse of the lost souls. It was originally a Russian game and came out in English in 2001. Thanks to the first Guy that posted; you were right. The game is alright, but not amazing. Check it out:)
