Someone found out my IP address! What should I do?

Ok so I got tricked and thereataed and my ip was found out. Should I worry? Change my IP address? Could they do any serious damage to any of devices that are connected? Please answer ASAP, thanks :p

Calm down - it'snot the end ofthe world. All sorts of people can find and identify your IP address but if you have the proper security, it won't do you any harm.

Take the Shields Up tests at www.grc.com. Gibson Reseaarch are the good guys so if they "attack" your address and can find any security holes, they advise on how to block those gaps.

Thanks! I just got scared cause of the fact they claimed to be a "hacker" I was stupid to fall for a trap where it let them know my IP. Luckily I have a decent security. But just in case, I'll try to renew my ip just to keep myself more safer. I just researched things about DDoSing and ext so I got kinda scared. Btw stupid question but could they access my pc/devices with that one piece of info?
