I am new at building pc's, and i have no clue what CPU cooler i need.

Specs:

MSI GeForce GTX 970 GAMING - 4GB GDDR5
Cooler Master Elite 310 Medium ATX (case)
Intel Core i5-4690

I chose not to include the unnecessary parts.

So, to my question:
What case fans do i need?
How many do i need?
What CPU cooler do i need?
Is Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo or Corsair H55 good?

Also, id like a good silent cooler/fan. So no water coolers.
My budget isnt too high, so please leave your extreme high end stuff out :)

Thanks in advance! :)

Normally your case comes with fan(s) included. 12cm or 14cm depending on the case. Usually they are not the best quality though so if you want it really silent you could consider buying some aftermarket ones. Noctua fans are genarally considered the best but they come at a price.

advisable to have minimum 2 case fans. Intake at the front and exhaust at the back/top. Having greater capacity intake (2 fans intake or higher rpm intake) than exhaust with dust filter(s) on the intake will prevent dust buildup inside your case (due to overpressure).

CM hyper 212 evo is the best budget cooler you can get and is all you will need!
