Hey everyone

I have a weird problem my system is experiencing. To begin I only play 2 games SWTOR and SC2, basically when i start playing a game my system begins to suffer from some sort of lag or slowdown, it's not big but subtle delay. For instance, when I have adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and illustrator opened these programs run extremely slow. Basically just moving any objects takes a couple of seconds to respond, their seems to be a lag or delay of like 3-5 seconds, even zooming in and out takes a while to register.

The funny thing is when I'm not playing a game every adobe program runs perfectly as intended. This only happens when i have a game opened and one adobe program running such as Photoshop, InDesign and illustrator running at the same time. Also I don't have any issues what so ever when playing games no lag, or fps problems, they play perfectly fine and very high settings. My games and adobe programs are installed on my SSD. I've opened my task manager and honestly i don't see anything that would lead me to believe something isn't right. Hopefully I was able to explain this somewhat.

SYSTEM
PSU: Corsair HX750i
MOBO: Asus Z87 Pro (V-Edition)
CPU: Intel i5 4670k@4.5Ghz
COOLER: Noctua NH-U14S 140mm
GPU: Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280X 3GB TRI-X OC
HDD: 1TB WD Black Series 1003FZEX
SSD 500GB Samsung 850 EVO
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 16GB (2x8) DDR3@2133Mhz
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

These are some things that I've done with my basic knowledge with no solutions

So I thought it was RAM related so I manually down clocked my 16gb(2x8) kit from 2133Mhz to 1866, 1333 and no change. The sticks are fine because I ran memtest86 a couple months back and no errors.
I also have my 8gb(2x4) 1866Mhz kit and swapped them out and no difference either.
I've updated my BIOS to its current version.
I've updated my GPU amd driver to 15.4 Beta.
I've set my SSD to maximum performance and rapid mode.
CPU isn't overheating. 40-55c when gaming.

I don't know what else to try, i recently did a clean OS install 2 months ago as well. And I don't recall ever having this issue prior in doing a clean OS installation, I[strike][/strike] basically multitask between my game and Photoshop to work on assignments. This build is 1yr and 4months old. With my PSU and 16GB kit being recently new.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bumping thread

I changed cpu settings back to stock, made no difference.

I removed amd drivers and reverted back to current 14.12, no difference either

any other suggestions to try?

EDIT 05/03/15

Well I found the solution, one night I decided to uninstall "possible" causes. I proceeded in uninstalling Wacom Drivers/Plug-in for my Tablet, Raptr, and Adobe Management Tool. Now unfortunately I don't know which one was causing the actual issue because I rebooted my computer to take effect. But my guess is the plugin for my wacom. Either way after uninstalling these 3 things my computer is running normal when gaming, with InDesign, Bridge, Photoshop and Illustrator opened at the same time.
