Need advice on ssd.

Solution
It'll be faster than a mechanical HD, so you should be fine. I would have opted for something different (more recent), but it shouldn't have any issues. Assuming your link is right, it looks like a 160 gb SSD and should be fine for a boot OS drive ans some games (not too many) and apps drive too. Depending on your system specs you might have about 120-140 GB's free before games/apps installed. I'm hearing GTA V is quite big (~50 GB's), so keep that in mind.

Status End of Life
Launch Date Q1'11
Sequential Read 270 MB/s
Sequential Write 165 MB/s
Random Read (8GB Span) 39000 IOPS
Random Read (100% Span) 39000 IOPS
Random Write (8GB Span) 21000 IOPS
Random Write (100% Span) 600 IOPS

Just some of the info from Intel's website.

Well the Kingston has faster read/writes, but not sure if I would buy it or not. Kingston did have some reliability issues on some of their V300's, but that would take some further research to verify it.

Personally if you haven't bought a drive yet, I would look at the Crucial BX series for budget minded builds. I also look at Samsung 850 EVO's too, but it will depend on your budget. I would stick to at least 240-256 gb SSD size, in order to fit what you want to do. I don't see a 120-128 gb SSD working quite as well with an OS and GTA V on it, but that is just me.
