I have just finished rebuilding my PC after cleaning it, it was working fine prior to this and no components have been changed! I don't have a boot speaker so do not know if I'm getting any beep codes.

If I remove both sticks of RAM then the PC doesn't turn off but still doesn't display

Hello Joshlane,

Removing the sticks will not do anything and it is dangerous of remove sticks while the PC is running.

Troubleshoot the following:

1. Make sure the GPU fans are running, if not then connect the GPU to PSU correctly

2. make sure your GPU is connected to rightful position

3. connect the video cord from Mobo to Monitor and see of your GPU is recognised by goin to device manager. Under "device Manage"r go to "Display Adapters" and see if there is any problem. Reinstall the drivers or revert back to originals settings and then update it.

4. Consult your Mobo maunual as to where the RAM should be placed. Usually its DDR2 and DDR4 positions.

5. Makesure the connection to your Mobo is correct, there should be 2 connections, one near/beside CPU and the other is the biggest one.

Hope these troubleshooting guidelines helps :)
