This is my second time writing this thread so bear with me
I am gonna build a new PC .I am thinking of using Gigabyte b85m-D3H for the motherboard. It doesn't support haswell-refresh CPU's out of box.I am thinking of buying i5 4590 it is gonna need a bios update before it can use the 4590.I am on a very tight budget i can't afford to buy a haswell just for updating the bios.I have found a method here on Gigabyte forums whichI would like the community to confirm as working.
My second question is about buying a ram I have two choices of which the second is cheaper, almost 10$
1.Corsair Vengeance 8GB.
2.Kingston somthing 8GB or two 4GB in dual channel
My question here is how much of a speed difference will be there between the kingston and corsair? Can it be covered by using two 4 GB in dual channel?
And lastly a while back Gigabyte has launched a non-Z overclocking bios for the motherboard which had 1.2 V limit. Then they launched another update which increased the limit to 1.8 V.
Now should I get i5 4690k (dramatically)DEVIL'S CANYON processor? How much increase in performance will I be noticing by overclocking it a few 100mhz in video(720p) rendering, editing and as well as Gaming both online and offline.
Thanks alot for your time and input.
