I am attempting to Install Quickbooks 2012 onto a friends computer . The installer attempts to install Adobe flash active X 10 , This fails . I have downloaded the installer itself and tried on its own and it also fails to install . When it attempts through the quickbooks installer I get : MSI returned 1603 : Fatal error during installation
I have also attempted installing dot net 4 onto the same pc , as I know quickbooks will attempt to install it after the flash . I downloaded the installer and it does not work . I get the following : Failed with error 0x8000247 .
I also tried to update windows and that does not work saying the updater service is not running and must reboot the pc . The windows update service is running and rebooting does not work .
I have tried every solution that I can find and am at my wits end here . Please help .
