Hey guys, so I currently have a gtx 670 that has worked great for the last ~4 years but I feel like it is time to upgrade as it is starting to show its age with some of the newer games. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on good cards out there (400 dollars max) that will be able to really impress for the next generation of games starting with witcher 3 for me :) Thanks

A Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 G1 Gaming (god thats a long name) would be great for today's games. It has the highest clock speed of all the GTX 970's out there and its great for pretty much any game you throw at it. Despite the 3.5 GB + 0.5 GB scandal, the 970s still perform well.

Mind you this card if VERY long so make sure it fits in your case and its going to run you around 350 USD. Make sure your processor is powerful enough so it doesn't get bottlenecked.

I have a full tower, my 670 measures about 10 inches and it fits with room to spare, will that be enough space? Also I have an i7-3750 @ 3.4 GHz...

Thanks for the help man I really appreciate it, just a few quick questions, I have a 660 watt Platinum rated PSU (Seasonic SS-660XP2 ATX 12V/EPS 12V, 660W, 80 PLUS PLATINUM), will that work with the upgrade? And also, looking amazon there is the gaming one you mentioned and an overclocked version for like 30 dollars cheaper, should I just stick with the version you sent or is the overclocked better?

Sorry for the late reply, the Gaming version has slightly higher clock speed than the normal one. If money is a concern then go with the normal one otherwise stick to the Gaming one.

And yes your power supply should work with the GPU, just make sure you have a 6 pin and an 8 pin power connector free to connect to the GPU.
