I have a PC Power and Cooling  Silencer 910 (PPCS910) power supply and a component is missing on the back side of the pcb.

This component is the first one on the right side of the Q316 transistor.

To help you to quickly find the component I included the links of 2 photos I took of the back side of the PPCS910 pcb:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B53beaGGMEUgeUFfUFhxSGktQ1U/edit?usp=docslist_api

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B53beaGGMEUgVWE2SnQ1TERXMUU/edit? usp=docslist_api

The first photo allow you see the side of the pcb from where to look for the missing component. In other words you must have the pcb aligned this way and look right on the closest edge of the pcb.

On the center of this photo we see a séries of 4 square IC one above the other and transistor Q316 is on the right side of the lowest of these 4 integrated circuits right on the edge of the pcb.

The second photo is a much closer view of Q316 where we can clearly see that Q316 is on the right side of the 4 IC between 2 components.

The component of the left side seems to be a resistor while the component on the right side is the missing component for which I need to know the type of component and the value of this component.

Unfortunately, PC P&C had been bought by OCZ and OCZ has been bought by FirePower Technology and this company is claiming that they can't provide the schematic because they're bound by a Non Disclosure Agreerment.

So, I hope that somebody will be able to help me solve this problem so I can finish to repair my power supply and bring back my computer to life...

Thanks a lot in advance.

I knew it but there are numerous discrepancies between the two psu and even if the back side of their respective pcb looks similar there are differences by the dozen For instance, the left and right pins of Q316 are connected on brown components (resistors) on the PC P&C PPCS910 psu pcb while they are connected on black components (capacitors) on the Seasonic m12d psu pc. So, I really don't think I can rely on the Seasonic m12d psu pcb to find what is the missing component of the PC P&C SILENCER 910 PPCS910 power supply but I greatly appreciate your effort to help me.

Anyway no matter how hard I tried I haven't been able to read the value of the component from the picture...

I simply can't believe how difficult it is to find informations about the PC P&C SILENCER 910 (PPCS910) power supply.

I posted on close to 10 large Forums asking for the schematic of this psu but I'm still searching, unbelievable...

FirePower are pretending that they don't have the schematic of this psu even if they bought the whole company who nanufactured this psu.

I wonder what they had for the money the spent to buy this company, thin air maybe???

OCZ has nothing else to say than: "contact FirePower"...

and PC P&C has closed its doors I don't know when...

OCZ never owned the design of that PSU. The OED (Original Equipment Designer) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) of that specific PSU is Seasonic. OCZ would have signed an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with Seasonic which would be grandfathered to FirePower. Why would Seasonic give away its intellectual property?

OCZ and FirePower have never manufactured a PSU in their existence. They don't have any manufacturing facilities. They only choose from existing PSU designs from OEDs/OEMs such as CWT, FSP, Great Wall, HEC, Impervio (Made by Etasis), Seasonic, Sirtec, Super Flower, Topower and Win-Tact. There is some customization allowed like the PSU's shell, capacitor quality, fan quality and cabling.
