Long story short I work in Pro audio. An interface I use had a very strange fault in it. The repair center and the manufacturer still have not figured out the cause of the issue.
So I got a new unit as it was taking too long. Thew new unit which I bought this week is years apart from the other unit but it has the very same issue. The same issue no other uses are experiencing only me. The unit has its own power supply. It can also work in standalone where the problem is still present while bypassing the Firewire and the computer.
But my question is this. Is there any possibility that this repeater could be damaging when first plugging it in? Or is that not possible?
Please any info much appreciated.
