Hi I was building a PC for video editing. I use CPU intensive programs like Adobe PPro and AE. I was looking to buy the Fractal Design Arc XL R2 . I know this case is built with a water cooling option in mind and seems to be geared that way. But if I use just the three fans included with the case will I be able to keep system temps down during major rendering periods which could take as long as a day sometimes.

Any advice is supremely appreciated. Thanks in advance and if you have any other ideas or other options feel free to include them.

THanks and Gd Bless

Hello Armosed,

I have the same case but smaller size and removed things to adjust fans for the best airflow. Have a look at this:http://higgsprime.tumblr.com/post/85242054193

I have removed the drive bay for best air flow so basically 4 AF intakes and 2 for exhaust. The default set up is also good. And there will no problem at all.

If you have any more questions ask here again.Hope this Helps

Thanks for the help but now that you mention it I have another question. The case includes one front, rear, and bottom fan. Can I take that bottom included fan and install it at top for this case the r2 arc XL?
