Is there a good mobo out of the box?

I used Asus and MSI before and looking at the current reviews on new ATX boards scare me.Some boards have negative approvals at 50%. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past. One review states that MSI warranties start from the date of manufacture. I was think of an AMD APU, 12 core. Suggestions on mobo's? I will not OC but try for higher quality. Should I wait for win 10?
TIA

Thanks, I am glad that you have a good experience.
But, there is too much negative info and, the latest review on Newegg is Dec. 2014.
My first build, when I didn't know what I was doing, featured a DOA power supply and the video card shorted on post. Everyone on the Forum told me that these things did not happen, I was doing something wrong .But, they happened to me. It is obvious that the manufacturers are not testing and their attitude is that they will deal with returns by customer service Good luck with that! Could you imagine a 30% dissatisfaction rate on TV sets?

Nojob, try ASUS than since their Customer Support team is actually pretty good. You might have done something wrong yourself. Do not blame the companies for your problems unless you have ensured that you have grounded yourself properly and have done all the precautions.

LIGHTWEIGHT BABY-You are right. There are probably a lot of problems caused are by inexperience like failure to ground or incorrect memory voltage that show up as a unwarranted negative review for an equipment maker. I like ASUS. My 2009 build is in use every day and none of the problems that have happened along the way were the fault of ASUS. The PSU and graphics card were defective.
It is not realistic to expect the equipment makers to test all possible combinations of components but there is no excuse for failure to test before shipping.
A current top of the line AMD board by ASUS and sold by Newegg at $200+ with 468 reviews shows 69% rated 4 0r 5. That means that 31% of the builders in the 1 to 3 range had problems that cost them money, time and aggravation. I find this unacceptable.

Well, I finally bit the bullet and built with an ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 and an AMD FX 6300,Cooler Master Storm box,16gb,Zotac card. So far, the only grief is with Win 8.1. The OS that was created for on reason other than profit.
