Hi All,

I have i7 870, gigabyte h55mud2h, 4gb ddr3 ram, Seasonic 520W Bronze. I have 9800gt at the moment which worked perfectly for my work for 5 years. Its not giving me a display, sometimes very rarely i get display and that lasts till i dont switch off the pc, the highest i tried it was 2+days and it worked perfectly and the moment i swtiched it off and turned it back on, again there was a long single beep and gpu fan runs faster than normal and then no success with getting display for many attempts.

So i am planning to buy a new gpu, which will do all the work 9800 gt did for me. Please suggest me a economical one from www.flipkart.com

I find it difficult to recommend anything below the *30 series. GT730 is the equivalent of the previous generation GT640 so that would be the best choice. It will be a little slower then the 9800GT you are replacing (That was only a few steps away from the fastest GPUs of that generation)

But i am not getting it, i purchased 9800gt for just 3000 INR in 2010 and in 2015 i cant find a similar card for same price bracket, ideally i should get a similar card for much lesser price, no? am i missing something?
