Are these computer parts compatible and will they make a good gaming computer?

You wont be overclocking, even with your processor, so a 212 EVO, although nice, is not necessary.

Dual channel memory>single channel.

Get Windows off of /r/MocrosoftSoftwareSwap. The sellers on that subreddit have tons of rep, and all of their keys are legit.

Corsair CX is not that reliable, plus, the one i chose is fully modular, and 80+ GOLD.

GTX 970> 960

What games will you play?

- The FX6300 is weak compared to an i3, I managed to squeeze in an i5.
- You are spending a lot of money on peripherals, are you aware of that?
- You do not need a sound card, modern motherboard have it included and it's of good quality.

^- not bad but the cx's are not reliable due to poor secondary caps. The 550w xfx is a better quality unit and costs less. You can also get 2x4gb of dual channel ram cheaper and with a h97 you might aswell get ddr3 1600 with a cas of 9 or less. Both of those will save enough that you can probaby get a faster 280x instead of the 960.
