Okay so i'm going to describe this as best I can but keep in mind this is a VERY weird issue so here goes... I can't even remember when this started but i'll give you as many details as possible I have Time Warner Turbo internet and a semi-new $350 Apple Base-Station router I use for Wi-Fi. So you would assume that I have some pretty good internet and at times it's not bad i can get around a 2-3gig download and I don't pay attention to upload so there's that. I can go on my Xbox ONE fine and my Xbox 360 and my brother can do the same with his consoles. We can both play at the same time with very little issues especially since I opened the ports for Xbox and etc. because we used to have horrible NAT issues. I have IPV4 connectivity but no IPV6 connectivity (I actually just noticed that so if anyone knows how to enable that on a base station using apple airport utility please let me know) and I also have a 74mbs speed in general. Thats all the basic statistics of my internet except for my Wi-Fi card as I have a laptop and I have tried replacing it but nothing fits and I can't be bothered to remove the back panel. ONTO THE WEIRD SITUATION - I will connect to the internet and go to youtube or something and if the connection drops to 3 bars instead of 4 or if ANY change in speed occurs it kills the internet, or it will just say no internet connectivity and provide that little caution sign. To which if i proceed to close firefox and simply open the networks tab and DO NOTHING ELSE it will fix itself for all of 5 minutes, if i switch browsers that usually fixes it for a good 30 minutes but no more. If I try to let windows troubleshoot my Wi-Fi it will at most reset the network adapter or at least say there was no problem found and for me to just unplug and re-plug my router. But that doesn't work. I have reset it to factory defaults, but that doesn't work, if I put a password on the router and change the SSID it gets even worse, i've changed the radio channels on the router but that doesn't work. Time warner no longer provides us Wi-Fi via the modem which had terrible NAT issues but thats irrelevant because its not what we use for Wi-Fi. Speaking of the router and the modem used to change their DNS's constantly making it impossible to connect to the internet which randomly stopped with no warning or anything and no more DNS errors. Also another issue we've had with this router is the airport utility even though windows says there are no errors whatsoever will sometimes or actually most of the time fail to detect the router making it even harder to change settings. I've also factory reset my laptop multiple times which means a fresh install of windows 8 so its not a problem with the OS either, ive also tried manual DNS settings for firefox but that did nothing to help. PLEASE GOD SOMEONE HELP ME THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING
