I have an AMD 9590 CPU, sapphire dual x r9 280 GPU, hyper 612 ver. 2, cpu cooler, and a sabertooth 990FX r2.0 MOBO. for some reason when i am using my computer once at random times it will completely freeze. it has dont this when i am watching movies, playing games, etc. Is this because something is overheating, not getting enough power or what? please help.

Keep a pgm open that monitors temps so you can keep an eye on them. And you never did tell me the make/model of your PSU.
Might as well do a memory test to see if the RAM is OK. Run Memtest on each stick INDIVIDUALLY. Download the .ISO file and use it to burn a bootable memtest disk. http://www.memtest.org/
Click on "Download (Pre-built & ISOs)" and find the file for your OS. Let it run on each stick for at least one full pass.

I figured out the problem. My GPU was overheating because the fan was not going up as the temp did and also i found out that i have crap ram. I ordered some new ram and fixed the overheating issue. everything is working good now thank you.
