I am getting everything together for my new gaming PC. Here is a list of parts I already bought.
AMD FX-8350 Black Edition
Gigabyte GA990FXA-UD3 motherboard
Apevia 700w PSU
G. Skill Ripjaws Z series 16Gb (4 x 4Gb) DDR3-2133
240Gb Crucial SSD
1TB Western Digital Blue 7200RPM HDD
3TB Toshiba 7200RPM HDD

I found a deal on two Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3Gb OC Dual-X OC. When I say deal I mean deal. I bought both cards for $200.00 from local PC store. They go for $189.99 on Newegg.com last time I checked.

Questions: Will I be able to play games at 1080p? (Arma 3, Dayz Standalone)
Is it worth running these in crossfire?
Will my PSU (700w) be good enough?
Did I make a mistake buying these cards? (LOL)

Solution
At 1080p the 280 crossfire will be more than enough for ultra settings. Yes your PSU is also overkill for your setup. Since you already bought the cards then you should do crossfire. However I would have told you to get the R9 290X instead.
