PC will only boot normally after like an hour

I'm running windows 7 32bit. As it is now, I can only access safe mode after the first boot for some time. Trying to boot normally gives me a Vista loading screen with a "no-signal" black screen after it. I've tried anything I could think of to make it work, but no success so far. I would appreciate any ideas as to what I could do with it.

That's not very detailed, but OK. Have you tried resetting the BIOS? Doing so will reset everything to factory default. So be sure to note any changes you've made in BIOS so you can change them back if necessary. Or check to see if your BIOS offers a user save of the BIOS settings as they are now, so you can load it back when you've reset it.

Did this happen just since you switched to Win7? I'm still trying to figure out what you mean by "Trying to boot normally gives me a Vista loading screen...". How can you get a Vista screen when you installed Win7? Did you do a clean install of Win7 or a simple upgrade from Vista?

What other info can I give?

I've never had vista installed on this pc ever. Apparently you get vista loading screen if your resolution is below 1024x when booting or something like that so that may be a hint but it didn't really help me.

I'm going to give the full story so we can narrow it down somehow. I had 2GB of ram to start it off, but I added 2 more. It was fine until I decided to update my BIOS to the newest version that was available. The vista loading screen shenanigans started after that. I've tried reverting every change, resetting BIOS to what it was, even going back to the original 2 gigs but it didn't change anything. Uninstalling the NVIDIA driver solved the blank screen problem, but it came back after I installed it again. Also, a random windows update seemed to solve it for like a day, but that may have just been something random. I'm really having trouble narrowing the issue down.

I'm going to try that. I can enter safe-mode whenever I want to, it's normal mode that I can't do. I'm forced into safe-mode for like an hour before it actually will let me in normally.

Oh! I was way off on what I thought the problem was. That is an odd one. So, when you boot up, you automatically go into safe mode?

Not automatically, it's just I can only boot initially by choosing safe mode, because normally it hangs. It is quite odd. Also today I've gotten "no signal" once in normal mode too. Everything keeps running in the background but there is no display.

Have you tried uninstalling the gfx driver when you are in safe mode? That often times can be the issue. Something corrupts the driver and Win can't boot. In safe mode, Win uses its generic driver. If still no joy...

What OS are you running? If Win7, boot to safe mode w/networking and download/run CCleaner. Do the Clean and Registry portions both. Then try to boot normally. https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Another option... That board has integrated video. Try totally removing the gfx card (after uninstalling the driver) and plug your monitor into the VGA port. See if you can boot normally.
