my friend have already a i7 4790k and he wants a mobo
i searched for it many brands (asus z97-ar
gigabyte z97x sli msi z97s sli krait edition...etc)
but no one of the z97 mobo's seems to be natively compatible all claim that you to update bios.
or does the mothrboard currently sold have already the latest bios update???
AND IS THERE ANY Z97 NATIVELY COMPATIBLE WITH 4790K

Solution

Not always, Some motherboards require a cpu in them in order to flash.

Asus boards with flashback do not, you put the bios on a usb stick. Only need power to motherboard.

Some z97 boards have this too.

Doesn't matter, flashing a bios is still easy, if you have to have a processor in it or not. I purchased my z97 motherboard knowing I would have to flash the bios for my i7 4790K and I had the processor in the board. I just did the right from within the bios, no problem.

I was unaware you could get into a bios with an unsupported cpu. Are you sure it really needed flashing? I thought most z97 boards supported Haswell natively. I thought z87 was the one that needed to be flashed.

Yes, my bios was 7 versions behind what it needed to be (1002) but I flashed it to the latest.
