can you tell me which of these setting i listed will allow me to run GTA 5 at 120+fps with this build?

hi im thinking of building a pc that has 16GB of ram, cpu i7-5820k or i7-4790k or i7-5960x!

and dont know if i need 2,3 or even 4 GTX 980's!

wanna get GTA 5 to run at 120+fps at my 144hz monitor at max settings (including setting MSAA at 8x, max shadow graphics) and 1440p

i wanna use my ASUS RoG Swift PG278Q - G-Sync, 144hz, 1440p Monitor its full potential! while gaming games like GTA 5, battlefield 4 and total war games

If you can afford 4 gtx 980, then I strongly recommend you go with 2 titan x, that will give you a huge amount of performance at 1440p.
You will run 120+ fps, dont worry.

but will it be 120+fps? cause i dont ever wanna go back to 60fps :)

I see you have a wide budget . I have a gtx 980 and run 1080p 120fps+ for just about everything. For 1440p you will need at least 2-3 gtx 980's, which means you should probably stick with 2 gtx Titans.

For myself personally: I wanted to get a 1440p, but feel in love with 100fps+ instead. Waiting for 1440p screens to drop price and the gtx 980 to fall.
