I'm trying to play a game in 3D on my GTX 970 and my Vizio 42' 3D TV. I installed the 3DTV Play software and in game I get 200fps but it seems like I'm getting some kind of lag. I think it's the mouse. Anybody have any ideas how to fix it? Oh and I have VSync disabled in game and in the nvidia control panel.

I'm confused, something is not adding up. Are you attempting to play in 3D? If so, you have to have V-sync on. It is forced on if you use 3D. Are you using some post process 3D effect of the TV's? If so, that will have lots of lag. To use the normal stereoscopic 3D won't have that sort of lag, but you are forced to have v-sync on.

Is that a passive or active 3D system? I suppose it is possible for passive systems to not have the same requirements.

So I have to have V Sync turned on in both the game and the control panel???

Yes the game is in 3D and I have no idea if it's passive or active.

I have no idea if it's active or passive and I don't think the v-sync is on. I have it disabled in both the game and CP. It's running at 720p and I even turned off the AA and AF

Looking up the specs of the TV, it most definitely is going to cause lag in 120hz mode as the TV does not input 120hz, and uses what is called "smooth motion" when in 120hz mode. This is a process in which the TV creates frames with the help of existing frames, and this causes lag. For TV viewing, lag doesn't matter, but for a game, it is a problem.
