Intel i5 1.8GHz(2.6GHz on Boost)|AMD 8730HD |8GB RAM| Still lags on most of the games

Above are my specifications of my Dell inspiron laptop.
The games on which I faced lags are:
1.Battle field 4
2.Black ops
3.Age of empire 3 on high graphics
4.Sprinter cell
5.Fifa14

I am not sure what is wrong. I followed this tutorial video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCh9Eob0mNY and still no improvement.

As per my knowledge the hardware I am having should play games without any issues but this is not the case for me. The AMD graphics turns on as I can feel heating of my keyboard where the graphics card is placed. So something is wrong which I can not fig. out.

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong?

Most I5 CPU's run at 3.0 Ghz and up now. Based on what you are saying about the heat, I would have to guess that just about the time you are feeling the heat coming from under the keyboard, that CPU is throttling down to the 1.8 Ghz speed and probably staying there. So the 2.8 Ghz speed might happen for a few seconds, but then the heat in the CPU builds up, and the CPU thottles to protect itself. This is pretty common for laptops. They just are not that good at cooling themselves, so they have to slow down to reduce the amount of heat they are producing.

This is another heat producer as you can tell. And it can run at a higher tempature than the CPU can, so it will produce quite a bit more heat than the CPU as well. Again, the laptop is going to have problems cooling this down while you are gaming.

You might want to take the bottom cover off and make sure the cooling fan is still spinning, and while you are at it, it would probably be a good idea to use a can of compressed air, and blow the dust out so that it can release the heat easier.

If after having done the above, the heat is still a problem, you might want to try buying a cooler pad, which costs as little as $10, and see if that helps you at all.
