How to connect to 8 pin Male PCI-E GPU Power Connector Socket

Hi there - can anyone point me in the direction of how to connect cables to the socket mentioned in the above mentioned socket.

Can send a picture of it but cannot seem to insert it here

If the power supply has a 6+2 PCie power cable http://www.mechbgon.com/build/8-pin_pcie.jpg, just insert it in the card's connector.

You may be using the 12v eps cable which is for 8pin cpu connector. If the connector is 4+4 then it is for cpu. If it is 6+2 then it is for pci-e power and should work. You can Google your psu model and learn what each looks like.
