Get the Computer for 1,310 dollars.

You are getting the 4690 'K' cpu so i am assuming you will overclock. You will need a good cpu cooler like the one you mentioned.

Currently games dont use more than 8GB ram so getting 16gb pretty much future proofs your rig.

You didnt list (or forgot to) a HDD in the second build. So i am assuming you have one already?

The 750W psu ios really overkill but its always handy to have more wattage ready for a good overclock.

Yes I'd also say that the $1310 build is better though I'd not get a 16GB RAM set. Its not needed and I doubt whether games will actually use more than 8GB for some time. And go for a dual channel 8GB kit (4×2). I'd also suggest going for an SSD because those things are fantastically fast. 128GB or 256GB is cool. If you're running on a budget then definitely 128GB. The Samsung ones are the best but very costly, so a SanDisk X110 or AData SP600 is good for you. For the RAM, G.Skill RipjawsX 1600MHz is fine I'd say.

Does your mobo support SLI? I don't think so. In that case 750w is WAY too much overkill. Go for 620W if you'll OC like crazy, otherwise 550W is more than enough. SeaSonic S12II 620W is 80+ Bronze and very cheap. And Seasonic S12G-550 W is 80+Gold so you can decide accordingly.

I think he's looking at pre builds. No point in suggesting something different.

The first should already do fine, the second one isn't going to perform better,it's just about different parts and some more ram + the overclock which the OP could manage himself later on with a hyper 212 evo for instance.

If the second one had a ssd in it would i pick that one.The only other thing to look at would be the psu,Zalman psu's haven't really been reviewed so not much to say about them and more important to know about them.Looking at just the specs should the Zalman do fine for that build.

The second one is worth the extra money because of the extra ram, maybe better psu and more expensive, probably more expensive case, other more expensive cooler etc.
