Please give some advices...

I wanna buy a storage disk to replace my current Seagate 2TB that is broken.

I have 3 choices:
1. WDC Green 4TB
2. Seagate 4TB
3. Seagate SSHD 2TB

I will create two partition from this storage disk.
First partition is for saving music, video, excel and word files.
Second partition is for installed games, I will use this drive to install my games...

So, which one is the best suitable for my purpose ?

And I wanna ask about WDC Green..
Is it 5400 RPM or 7200 RPM ?
I have one WDC Green 4TB for movies backup.
But, whenever I browse the folder, it takes time more slowly (green bar process on top - windows explorer address path) and sometimes I hear the sound the harddisk read data when I browse the huge folder consists of many files.
Is it normal for WDC Green ?

Thanks... :)

Personally I'd go with the 4TB Seagate indeed, but wouldn't rule out the SSHD immediatly as it's quite a bit faster (improves game loading time, as well as any other program). See what fits you better :).

The WD Greens are 5400RPM drives, thus being a bit slower. Out of the 3 you mentioned I'd go with either the 4TB Seagate or the 2TB one, depending if size or speed are more important to you, respectively.

Just as a personal note 2 extra TBs are more like my thing, so it'd be an easy pick ;).

Western Digital doesn't really specify the drive RPM as they say it uses a "variable speed" technology. The base line is that they're slower and used for bulk storage mainly.

My current Harddisk now are:

1st : SSD 120GB --> for OS booting
2nd : Seagate 2 TB --> broken, slow response ==> I Want to Replace this one
3rd : WDC Green 4TB --> only use for movies backup or watching movies

So, Seagate 4TB is the best choice ?
Seagate SSHD 2TB is not good ?

Given that is your Setup I'm not too sure anymore.... is the WD Green you have full? Tell me, would you benefit more from a faster drive or a bigger one (in terms of storage)?

My WDC Green 4TB now is almost Full of movies 1080p 5.1ch DTS
And my previous Seagate 2TB is for my data and games installation.

So, I need a new one to replace this broken Seagate 2TB.
I think WDC Green 4TB is not a choice anymore because its speed is 5400 rpm and I will use the drive for game installation, right?
SSHD is not good anymore, because I already have an SSD for OS Booting.
So, the best choice is Seagate 4TB ?
