Hey, well, I seem to have a problem here. I have the Intel Core i7 2600k, with a stock heatsink. I do mostly rendering and Graphics design. So, when I render out things (for those who don't know) It uses all of your cpu processing power. no matter how fast or how many cores it has, it uses it all. if you have a faster processor with more cores, It'll get the job done faster. But this processor is good for me. Anyways, I use Cupid Hardware Monitor PRO to check temps and control fan speeds and stuff. When I was rendering something, I couldn't help but notice that my cores were significantly overheating. I figured my heat sink wasn't on right, or wasn't put on right. No, It's on right. My second thought, is maybe the thermometer on the cpu or whatever was messed up. Because if my computer was overheating this badly, it would've blue screened or crashed by now. I also don't see any loss of performance or signs of overheating. I also put my hand up against the side of the heatsink to see if it actually was overheating, and it didn't feel hot, it was warm, but not melting hot. Also the fans and everything are working fine so no problem there.

Here's a screenshot of my temps: http://gyazo.com/82c1b9bf69ad01acc41cce5aa9e64cbd

Could you test with any other utility before taking conclusions? Like MSI Afterburner (I'm pretty sure it mentions your CPU temperatures as well).

If the problem still continues I'd consider getting an Aftermarket cooler and/or good thermal paste.

Nah, MSI afterburner says the same thing. :/
