The title pretty much explains it. A friend of mine told he used to buy his CPU, Motherboard and RAM from a certain website that would put them together to make sure they were working properly before sending it to you. He hasnt built a pc in quite awhile, so he doesnt know the site name. I was wondering if any of yall knew?

EDIT

Should also mention, it did cost an extra 10(just a random number I picked. My friend told me it did cost 30-70) USD or so

if you're concerned about DOA or missed quality control, I'd recommend just buying locally so that you can exchange it same-day. if I was running a store, I doubt I'd charge only $10 for that sort of test service UNLESS my parts were priced higher to begin with to make up for it. someone would have to (realistically) spend a good 15-30min to unpack, set up, test, repack, and even at minimum wage, $10 won't cover it.

Unless the OP is in a third world country where people make $2/day.

Certainly not in the U.S., we can't be bothered to pre-test it for you, certainly not for $10. Maybe somewhere in the U.K. they are still big on DIY it seems.
