I just recently purchased the ASRock Z77 Extreme4-M from eBay second hand as i CANNOT find this motherboard new at all, despite hours of searching (i'm from the UK) and when starting up i get 4 quick beeps. I put this down to RAM so i decided to purchase some RAM that was officially supported. I spent about £150 on that which is fine, however when trying again I got the same 4 beeps. I'm now going to send it back as I've just spent £150 on something i didn't actually need. I currently have 2 GTX 980's so i need 2 x16 SLI Slots. Here's my question:
1) Please can someone try find me this motherboard ASRock Z77 Extreme4-M brand new as buying second hand was a stupid decision on my behalf.
2) What other motherboards can people suggest ? NOTE: I have a 1155 CPU Socket and need 2 16x PCI express slots for SLI. And of course it needs to be SLI compatible, hence the reason for the need of those express slots.
Please can someone get back to me ASAP as I really need to purchase something soon
