well your problem in DAYZ is the CPU needs to be overclocked. DayZ is an ARMA2 mod (from what i recall, correct me if i'm wrong) which means you'll need to overclock that cpu, as ARMA2 like ARMA3 is a single core mess that requires a hefty overclock on even top end intel cpus to run well.

GTAV might benefit from the overclocking as well, though i suspect the real problem in gtaV is the 2gb of vram on the 770, you might need to turn down settings to smooth out GTAV

Yeah i've tried to reduce settings and the issue still happens. And as you can see from the video i'm running at a cool 60fps but it'll just randomly dip to 20 for a second and then back up
