LegendOfLich :
So my uncle had this computer before me. This is a custom made pc that I upgraded to be better. This means he has used it before and all his crap is still on here. I want a fresh install of windows to be free of all clutter he has and plus, I want a fresh restart. Anyways, does Windows ULTIMATE have a factory reset option? If so, what buttons do I press, I have a gigabyte 990 board?
Windows Ultimate, the OS, does not come with a 'factory reset'
The Factory Reset partition, if any, is put there by the manufacturer of the PC/laptop.
If this was a custom built PC, there probably is NOT a standard 'Factory Reset' option.
Do you have the license key for the OS install?
If not, install this and see if it can find it:
Belarc Advisor
If it finds a Windows license key, go here and see what this does to maybe, possibly, download a Win 7 ISO:
