Hey all,
So i recently installed some CAT5. E in the walls of my house. I tested the connection with my laptop, and it got 60mpbs down and 7 up with a ping of 7, verifying that the connection was properly done and working fine. As soon as i plugged it in to my pc, things started to go weird. According to speedtest.net, my desktop only got 15 ping and 6 down with 5 up. I tested with my laptop again, and it got 60mpbs down and 7 up with a ping of 7, just like before. Im confused?!?!?
In the networking section it says that im connected to "ethernet 2".
What is the problem? Could it be my hardware? I mean, i have a crappy motherboard, but that is equipped with 1gbs. Help!
