Gigabyte H97-D3H USB 3.0 not working

I just built this computer today and 2 of the 4 USB 3.0 ports on the back are not working. I've tried running the CD that came with the motherboard, but it won't open up for some reason. I have Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Nope. I plugged in a USB 3.0 card reader into all the 3.0 ports after I got it all together and two of them didn't recognize it.

You can get the drivers from the website.. which are probably more updated and stable.

It sounds more like you might have missed something when you assembled your computer. Are you sure you didn't miss a plug and everything is firmly inserted?

I don't see any USB 3.0 drivers on Gigabytes site and the CD that came with the MB won't load.

As far as I can tell everything is plugged in firmly. I don't have any errors in my Device Manager either.

Thanks, but for windows 8.1 64-bit I don't see anything that would help with USB issues (I checked that same page before). Also, there is a more recent BIOS update, but it tells me it isn't compatible with my OS, which seems strange.
