Okay so I have been using AMD eyefinity for a while on one of my cards. I have 2x 6870 hd radeon. now, the eyefinity works great!

I am just wondering if it is possible to connect a TV to my other graphics card that doesnt have any connections to it right now. Reason being is I Want to play games that I use a xbox controller with on that TV and regular games on my multple monitor system.

I have plugged in the HDMI into my tv and other graphics card and it doesn't seem to be detected. I was hoping I could figure out a way to make this work.

Thanks!

Check out the AMD FAQ here for all the different configuration options:

In Crossfire specifically, what you want to do is not possible. As per AMD:

"Yes, AMD CrossFire and AMD Eyefinity are compatible. Since only displays connected to the primary (master) card are supported in AMD CrossFire, the number of displays that can be enabled in AMD Eyefinity mode is limited to the number of supported displays of the primary card."
