Well since there is no general setting I guess I'll post this here. I'm in the middle of buying my parts of my gaming pc, which I want to be able to play skyrim on ultra/high with fifty or so mods on it/Witcher 3 high/ultra with tweaks. So far I am thinking an I7 4760 or I5 4690 for cpu. GTX 970 for gpu. Still unsure about Motherboard, and of course RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am a noob to pc gaming (been a console peasant all my young life).

Is there any real difference between i5 and i7? I'm looking to have this pc for at least 4 years and don't want to have an i5 that fell off ( I don't want to be changing more than a part every year/ two years). Read up a bit on the z97 and will pick that up also. I also found some 8GB (2x4 vengeance that got shipped to my house on accident a few years back. Will that do? Also a quick question about storage. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227706 was shipped along with those sticks of RAM. Is it a good enough start for a hard drive? (I'm not sure what amount of storage is good so 120gb sounds small to me).
