Hello,

I have a ASUS Sabertooth 990X motherboard, AMD 8350 processor, EVGA 850 G2 power supply with Windows 7.

I had to reinstall Windows and now I can't get on the internet. I tried to download the drivers for the chipset and for LAN to transfer to my PC on my external hard drive but my new computer cant access the file. Windows says that I need to install drivers or a network adapter.

How do I get my internet up and running? How would I be able to transfer the files to my PC? How would I know what type of network adapter I need(if I need one)?

You should have a CD that came with that motherboard that will include network drivers. They may not be the most current drivers, but they will function well enough that you can get to the internet to get any updates that are out there.
