This is a curiosity question.
I understand that when you are overclocking, you push your CPU further and further until you either hit temperature limits, or instability. I also know that bumping the volts makes the CPU more stable in higher clocks in the side effect of higher temperatures.
BUT does that mean if you have a CPU it can reach a very high clock speed, say even 6Ghz before hitting the Thermal limit (Cooling with Liquid Nitrogen) with insane voltages???
Or no? The main question here is that if instability depends on voltages or just plain CPU potential...
I'm talking Intel here too. I'm not exactly sure if this applies to AMD because I don't know much on their CPUs...
