Okay, I have a huuuge problem because of this crap gateway Im using (I got it from my ISP). I will be very grateful if someone could help with this, I really dont know what to do. This is the device I am talking about -----> http://www.technicolor.com/en/solutions-services/connected-home/modems-gateways/cable-modems-gateways/tc7200-tc7300

I think its a "phone/modem combo gateway
."

Now, I am having issues in this multiplayer game called GTA Online (PC). People keep leaving the session all at once! So I am always by myself. I tried literally EVERYTHING (forwarding ports, disabling firewall, enabling UpNp, changing my DNS servers, eeeeverything!). Nothing helps.

---> This is the advice I got on another forum
(I think this method down here can my problem) :

"ok it looks like your using a phone/modem combo gateway. I will explain how i fixed my issue using a different model of the technicolor. This happend on the ps4 contstantly and i tried the nat crap and port forwarding stuff and nothing never worked. I actually stopped playing the game. PC release comes and i give it a shot. Same crap starts happening again . Im like hell no this will not do. So what i did was go down to the local walmart purchased a 25 dollar router. hooked that up to the gateway. bridged the gateway making it pretty much just an emta. hooked everything up to el cheapo router and wala not solo sessions and no more me being removed.

if you dont know how to bridge your gateway there should be a setting in your router login that enables or disables bridge connection
"

----> Now, I`m a noob when it comes to setting up the network.
Can someone explain me what do I need to do step by step, how to hook up a router to my satanic no-good gateway ?

Thanks everybody in advance!

You need to put it into bridge mode.

Login to router, default username/password is admin

In the topmost menu item 'System' you will find the heading 'Switch mode' on the left-hand side.

'Router mode' is selected by default here. Change this to 'Bridge mode' and click on 'Save' to confirm the change.

The modem will now be rebooted and comes online in bridge mode.

@das_stig, please, look at this video (it shows my Technicolor gateway interface) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdQXtaAp0Ig

Where can I find this "switch mode" ? There is no "System" tab as you said.

After I managed to put it into bridge mode, I need to do step 2,3 and 4 that @MisterSprinkles wrote, right ?

EDIT : There"s an important coaxial cable hooked up to my gateway (
MisterSprinkles said to not connect anything else to the gateway, but I cant disconnect that coaxial cable)

Okay, I`ll leave the coaxial cable where it is. I`ll call my ISP to help me with putting the gateway to bridge mode.

This is the router I want to use with my gateway (Zyxel P660HW-D3) ----> http://www.njuskalo.hr/image-bigger/wireless-wlan/zyxel-p660hw-d3-slika-16502982.jpg
I don`t see a WAN port on this router, only LAN ports and an ADSL port for telephone. Will this be a problem ?
