Here are my specs: (let me know if you need more)
Processor: AMD A10-6800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Manufacturer: AMD
Speed: 4.1 GHz
Number of Cores: 4

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 8670D
Manufacturer: ATI

Chipset: AMD Radeon HD 8670D
Dedicated Memory: 768 MB
Total Memory: 4.0 GB
Memory: 7.4 GB

Okay, the weird part is this didn't happen about 2 weeks ago. At first I thought it was only CS:GO crashing my computer but now, it's almost every game. I don't understand. I may need to clean out the dust but I really don't know what to do now. I am also a newbie when it comes to computer parts and all that stuff.

The crashing is a simple whir-down as if I were holding down the power button. No warnings, no nothing.

If it helps, the crashing started a little after I got my new keyboard and mouse.
Leave a comment and I will respond as fast as I can.

Get Msi afterburner and see what your temps are ingame.
Also are there any error messages, does it crash to desktop or the whole computer?
Try an old mouse/keyboard if possible to see if it continues, as the can crash your computer.

I'm currently using Speccy, and I see that my CPU is currently above 60 degrees! Ouch! I'm still not too sure if I'm right about buying a new CPU?

I'll try MSI Afterburner though.

60 degrees is not dangerous, but it is getting a little toasty. Try running a Cpu benchmark like Prime95 and see what your temperatures get to, as the game may not be using your CPU now as it does do in certain situations.

Also go into your Msconfig and ( windows key + R type msconfig ) go to the startup Tab and see if there is a bunch of things in there.

Thanks dude, I really appreciate the help. Going to test it now and wow. There were alot of unwanted things in msconfig. Thanks a lot!

:\ Temps go up to 120 degrees with CPU on CS:GO.

Please say that's Fahrenheit! That should cause cause emergency shut down. Or at least it would with Intel chips where they hit TJMax at 105

Yep, if that isnt fahrenheit :O If your temps are 120 degrees C then stop playing games, check things like your cpu fan, I would buy some Thermal Paste and reseat the cooler because that is probably why it is shutting down

The only reason I know what happens at TJMax is because I achieved it on the first night of using my PC for the very first time for this very reason. CPU fan wasn't running

Me? I don't think so. It would probably explain a lot, but it's been over a year and it's still running. It's a good thing I happened to be in the BIOS on a screen that was showing the temps before it happened. They were just going up and up. It emergency shut down in the desktop while installing board drivers if I remember right. Put 2 and 2 together and checked the CPU fan.

In hindsight, it could be the cause of the reliability issues from last year and the BSODs. I don't know if all is well with the CPU and at this point I'm too afraid/happy it works to check

I thank you guys, and sadly, yes, it was degrees. However, I cleaned out the dust and added better thermal paste, and it has lowered. However, it still doesn't reach the 30 degrees point while idle, it reaches 50. I will get a CPU cooler and see if that will work. I will let you guys know if it doesn't work :D
