hello guys

so few days ago i updated my windows 8.1 ( 17 imortant update and some optional too)
but after the update , when ever i log in to my account , after like a 10 or 15 minute ( sometimes even more ) my explorer.exe keeps restarting , so i cant do anything other than using cntrl alt delete and loging out and then loging in again , then i tried copying explorer.exe in to system32 folder , so after that when ever it happens , it does not restart the explorer , only that explorer.exe closes and when i try to open it using task manager (run) it wont open

also i scanned my computer using kaspersky 2015 internet security and there was no virus

and when i try to uninstall the installed updates , it does not work , i click on uninstall and it says this will take several minutes but never gets finished

what should i do ?!?!?

the Explorer executable also controls the desktop so that is a problem. I have heard that this glitch has been caused by the recent 'upgrade' and should be fixed soon!

For a better file manager without fighting windows explorer try Explorer ++ [https://explorerplusplus.com/]

Hi, Just download it from the above website (it's free) and install it by double clicking on the .exe file. It is like an extended version of windows explorer but it doesn't keep "falling over' and gives more options.....

Good luck
